Default Remove ignore list limitation

Im sure this has already been addressed many times in related threads, but still this issue deserves its own discussion.

Yesterday I submitted yet another violation report to the guildwars support about some guy who was massively spamming his WTS message in ToA using spambot technique. Today I got automated response that they "did something, but wont tell me what exactly" and advising me to use ignore option when someone annoys me. Now this is BS for two reasons:
1) Later today i was in ToA and THE SAME FREAKIN GUY WAS SPAMMING HIS SHIT AGAIN!!! I did not have time to take proper screenshot because my group was off to FoW in seconds, but even if I would - what would change?
2) 10 people limit on ignore list is some sort of joke. There are virtually hundreds of people who I would love to ignore and I cant.

What it comes down to is how stupid this situation is. Why should i waste 20 minutes of my life to do a screenshot, resave it as jpeg, open and login to support site, upload file and write a description... all that for every idiot out there? Why cant i just click and say ignore? Why even have all those rules that supposed to punish people for using spambot or abusive language, when it can easily be handles by players themselves?
Just gives us proper tools for it! There is no need to waste support resources. No need to punish. There is no need for anything... Just give us ability to effectively shield ourselves from local chat sellers!
I dont care if offender gets banned or not, I really dont. All I care about is that he is disrupting me trying to form a mission/farming group... not tomorrow, not in an hour, or whenever support decides to look at my submission... NOW!

Enough said. Remove ignore list limit.

that's one solution.

Another would have Anet get their moderators to ban bots when THEY see them... if they have moderators.

I'd rather go all out and have an automatic boot feature if the player avoids the "your message has been supressed...."

I dont understand why so many people are annoyed so easily. You know how many people are currently on my ignore list? 1. And I'll probably remove that person soon. I rarely ever see the same people over again in pve. The only time I put someone on ignore is when they spam my whispers. There is no other reason to do it. You can just ignore them without the ignore button.

Kool PJs, you are absolutely right about that. This is just a game so why let it bother you like it's someone in a WalMart yelling I LOVE CHICKEN SOUP over and over. If that happened, though, I'd probably kick his ass, but I digress. Just turn off the Pub chat for a while or just don't go to D1 of the major trading ares.

Thats because in Walmart and hes shouting 'i love chicken soup' over and over, you can ignore him. I'm almost certain in real life you can ignore more than 10 people at once.

Perhaps people with half a brain will eventually realise that by turning off 'all chat' your sorta eliminating the chance of finding a group advertising for people, not that you Americans would actually know what dis 1 ToA is like when you have the favour

I don't see why you can't just ignore them, I can do it, and I still see most of the LFG and GLF messages.

On all 4 of my accounts.

With the addition of the expansion, I have seen an influx of people that should not be allowed on the Internet. Once you make my Ignore list, your there permantly.

Is Uber Spamsalot still in game from day 1? Don't know, don't care, can't see him.

Unfortunately, GW does not have Game Masters or in-game Admins. They do, however, have many players in the company who spot these things as they're playing, and report them like anybody else would.
GW needs game masters. I have never seen a worse gaming environment since Diablo 2 and its hackers appeared. Asholes make this game not worth playing. If everyone in GW knew what "kindness" was, I would have ten times more fun playing it.

Until they do that somehow, a larger ignore list would be useful, and take up almost no space on their servers.
I myself have a list of about 200 complete idiots or morons I have run into over the past year.

bleh, guild wars need servers with age separation if you ask me, too many idiotic young kids who just learned how to swear love their racist terms, stupid comments, and cusses... there should just be a server where only 18+ is allowed or something
